Kids Day: Slide Show #1
May 21, 2011 was the Skeet Reese Kids Fishing Day fundraiser for the Meadow Vista Community Center. Skeet and Kim worked tirelessly to put the event together over the past several months, and their efforts were well received by the crowds who attended.
The crowd; which at its peak had an estimated 1500 attendees were treated to trout fishing at the park pond, bounce houses, face painting, raffle prizes, food booths, kid’s casting area and a live band. Registration for the event ran from 6:30 AM, and fishing went from 7:00 Am until noon, with music, fun, raffle and the live auction lasting until 3:00 PM.

Skeet Reese hosted a kids fishing day on May 21, 2011 at the Meadow Vista Community Center. Over 1200 trout were planted into the Meadow Vista park pond and hundreds of anglers gathered around the pond to take their shot at catching the fish.
Skeet Reese partners, Wright & McGill, Trokar, Wiley-X, Berkley, Dick’s Sporting goods and many more provided raffle prizes along with free goodies for the kids in attendance.
The auction was full of great stuff including a hand made Guitar courtesy of Duane Calkins founder of the Wood Shop Rocks program, a Nike Soccer Ball signed by Mia Hamm, a football signed by some of the San Diego Chargers, and lots more.
Dare To Dream
Skeet Reese speaks to an elementary school in Northern California about chasing your dream and doing what you love. Skeet also handed out Wright and McGill Skeet Reese kid combo rod and reels to every kid in the school! Just how many fisherman Skeet created at this event is yet to be seen, but there are surely a few new Bassmaster dreamers in Northern Cal these days!
